Edgewonk has spent years on one thing — making a trader confront their own numbers and their own behaviour — and it is very good at it. If that is what you want, this page should end with you choosing them.
This is the question that decides it, and it is not a question about features. Edgewonk is built on the assumption that the journal is for you. Everything excellent about it follows from that assumption.

No prices and no feature counts here on purpose — both change, and a stale number in a comparison table is just a wrong claim about someone else’s product. Where we can’t confirm something from their own material, the cell says so rather than guessing.

“Not documented” means we could not find it stated on their own site as at 1 September 2026 — not that it doesn’t exist. If we’ve got something wrong, tell us and we’ll correct it.
For some traders. Both journal trades and analyse them, and both track mistakes. Edgewonk publishes far deeper reporting and a much wider import list. We’re narrower, and differ in one respect they don’t publish: a system-set label on every trade recording how it arrived.

Yes — they publish automatic import across 200+ brokers including MT4 and MT5, NinjaTrader, Interactive Brokers and cTrader. We sync MetaTrader 5 only. If you trade anything else, they cover you and we don’t.
Two things: a per-trade provenance label, set by the system rather than chosen; and a public profile, so the record has somewhere to be seen rather than only exported.
It depends who the journal is for. For you alone, depth wins and Edgewonk has more of it. If someone else will need to believe your record, depth isn’t the constraint — provenance is.
Plenty of people would be well served doing exactly that: Edgewonk for the deep review, a public profile for the record. We’d rather say so than pretend the choice is forced.
